The August DA110BD is an all-in-one portable multi-functional personal entertainment centre. It is portable LCD TV, digital Freeview TV receiver, digital radio receiver, high quality tablet DVD player with slot-in disc loader, media player from SD/MS/MMC memory cards and from an external hard disc via USB port, digital photo displayer and high resolution monitor for other media players or a games console.

As a DVD player it plays multi-regional discs supporting MPEG4 / DivX and almost all video formats. With its integrated card reader and USB port you can play and watch video programs stored in various devices. As a TV receiver it has the integrated features of fast program scanning, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and subtitles.

With stylish state-of-the-art super slimline and lightweight design, outstanding picture and sound quality and user friendly features. Please note the included portable antenna may only be used in areas where Freeview signal is strong. There may be difficulties in receiving TV signal with the portable antenna in some regions at present. This is due to that the Freeview service (www.freeview.co.uk) is yet to operate in full power in the UK. The reception will be improving along with the progress of Digital Switchover region by region. Reception may also be affected by various factors such as tall structures, thick walls, ceilings and etc. Change of orientation of the antenna or using amplified aerial may improve reception where the signal is marginally strong. A rooftop aerial may be required to watch Freeview in regions where the signal is insufficient for a portable antenna before the Switchover.
